But first, the Keizer 42 made her Norwegian debut in the beautiful marina of Leangbukta Maritime Senter. Bavaria Bat Norge AS took delivery of the first boat and showed it to the public. When the doors opened on saturday, the first day of the show, they enjoyed the clients coming onboard.
Although it was cold and with still some ice in parts of the marina we put "Carmen" in the water during the show and started the big Volvo's 400's. After heating up the engines properly we opened up the throttles and enjoyed great handling and speeds up to 42 knots. With very low noise levels from the Volvo's we enjoyed the Oslo Fjord to the fullest. Comfortable behind the big windscreen offering great protection from the cold wind we spend almost the whole day onboard and lost all sense of time. With smiles on our faces we returned to the marina and before sunset, thanks to the great team of Bavaria Bat Norge, "Carmen" was back in the showroom.
